The connector and component business has been acquired by Inelco Hunter Limited and the cable assembly business by Hunter Cable Assembly Limited.
Raj Gupta, Group Chief Executive commented “merging these two distribution businesses with their complementary product ranges will provide our customers with more comprehensive and competitive product range, whilst at the same time the addition of the cable assembly business to HCAL adds further depth to our product offering and additional world class manufacturing capability for our customers”.
The Preci-dip product range includes high-precision press-fit technology and spring-loaded connectors. Preci-dip is one of the worlds leading manufactures in screw machined and MIL spec contacts, spring loaded and interconnect components. Preci-dip also provide custom design solutions.
With the acquisition, Inelco Hunter are also able to offer Oupin connectors – recognised as one of the world leaders in design and manufacturing of high quality, high volume connectors; and Suyin range of custom-design connectors for battery, board-to-board, card reader, HDD, PC card and l/O applications.

Hunter Cable Assembly Limited is a specialist subcontractor and distributor for cable assembly, wiring harnesses, cable looms, box builds and sub assembly.
